What MiotoRent is

MiotoRent is a booking service that lets you search, book and pay for cars listed by their owners on the Mioto marketplace. We facilitate the booking and payment; the rental agreement for the vehicle itself is between you and the car’s owner via Mioto.

Eligibility to rent

You need a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) or a Vietnamese driving licence matching the car’s category. A licence that doesn’t meet these requirements may be rejected — if this happens you’ll be asked to re-upload a valid one before booking.

Booking and price

The price shown at checkout includes the vehicle rental, insurance and our service fee — there are no hidden charges at pickup beyond what’s stated. Minimum rental is 1 day.

Some cars require no deposit; others require a cash deposit (15 or 30 million ₫, paid to the owner on pickup) or a motorbike with its registration as an alternative. The exact requirement for your chosen car is shown before you confirm the booking.

Insurance and liability

Insurance is included in every booking. Your liability for damage to the vehicle is capped at 2,000,000 VND, except in cases of gross negligence, intentional damage, or violation of traffic law.

Payment

Payment is made online through our payment provider; no Vietnamese bank card is required. Depending on the car, you may pay a deposit at booking and the remainder on pickup, or the full amount upfront.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation is free within 1 hour of making a booking. After that, a cancellation fee applies based on how close you are to the pickup date: 10% of the trip value if you cancel more than 7 days before pickup, and 40% of the trip value if you cancel within 7 days of pickup.

Refunds for the remaining amount are issued to the payment method used for the booking; processing times depend on the payment provider and may take longer for crypto payments.

Your responsibilities

You must provide accurate information when registering and booking, keep your account credentials secure, and comply with Vietnamese traffic law and the car owner’s reasonable conditions of use while the vehicle is in your possession.

Limitation of liability

MiotoRent is not liable for the condition of the vehicle, disputes with the car owner, or events outside our reasonable control. Our liability for issues within our own booking and payment service is limited to the amount you paid for the affected booking.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the service after a change means you accept the update.
